The present invention relates to the use of macitentan in combination with a cytotoxic chemotherapy agent selected from paclitaxel, temozolomide and a mixture of paclitaxel and temozolomide, or with radiotherapy, or both radiotherapy and the cytotoxic chemotherapy agent selected from paclitaxel, temozolomide and a mixture of paclitaxel and temozolomide in the prevention or treatment of brain metastases.
