PURPOSE:To hold accurate operation of a memory mechanism for a steering wheel without installing a new guide groove or the like, by only adding one guide pin to a column bracket. CONSTITUTION:A guide pin 19 is projectingly installed sideways in an upper part of a through hole 6a of a column bracket 6, while this guide pin 19 is fitted in a tilt guide groove 7a of a movable bracket 7, and rotational displacement centering on a tilt pin 9 of the movable bracket 7 is made so as to be restrained by fitting of the guide pin 19 to the guide groove 7a. With this constitution, with one guide pin added to the column bracket only, relative angular displacement to a steering column anchor in time of lock release of the movable bracket 7 is completely preventable from occurring, thus accurate operation of a memory mechanism is holdable. |
