The building has usage units e.g. house units, comprising an effective area with stationary functional regions. Mobile functional regions (12, 12') are movably arranged between a collecting station and the usage units by a conveying device within the building so that the mobile functional regions are spatially linked with stationary functional regions of one of the usage units for extension of the effective area of the usage units. A vertical conveyer (22) by which the mobile functional regions are moved in a vertical direction in a shaft between story planes (2, 2'). The mobile functional regions are designed as a sauna region, a fitness region or a home theater region, a music region and a party region. An independent claim is also included for a funtional space extending device. |
