<p>Copying sheet system comprises a transparent or translucent film, e.g. of paper or plastic, coated on >=1 side with a copy layer, and a second sheet e.g. of paper or cardboard coated with a second type of copy layer. One of the copy layers is coloured and adheres to the second copy layer (receptor layer) when pressed into contact with it. The combination copy sheets can be used for making copies from credit cards, typewrites, etc. label plates, etc. When the donor and receptor sheets are pressed together, the coloured donor layer becomes detached and adheres to the receptor layer in the area of the impression, so that two copies are produced. One copy consists of coloured donor material adhering to the receptor sheet, the other copy consists of imagewise voids in the donor sheets. The materials are simple to use and economical since no carbon paper or other disposable material is used.</p> |
