PURPOSE:To make a bar distribution mechanism simple and compact as a whole, by providing an indexing plate having bar reception notches on the periphery, and by rotating the indexing plate by plural different angles so as to selectively open or close plural guide rails by a guide member. CONSTITUTION:When bars 20 put on a table 22 are to be distributed one by one to guide rails 52a, 52b, one of the bar reception grooves 24 of an indexing plate 12 is placed in a bar receiving position O so that the foremost bar 20 is let to roll into the groove 24. In order to transfer the thus received bar 29 to the guide rail 52b, the indexing plate 12 is turned by an angle theta2 so that the groove 24 is placed at the inlet port of an introducing passage 54b. The bar 20 is thus let to drop from the reception groove 24 into the guide rail 52b through the introducing passage 54b. At that time, a guide member 14 is placed in a position shown by a solid line in the drawing, so as to close the inlet port of another introducing passage 54a communicating with another guide rail 52a. |
