PURPOSE:To secure such a trimming base material as being ease of vacuum molding or thermal pressure molding, by embedding a reinforced sheet of a glass fiber or the like in a denatured phenol/urethane mixed resin foam body in stratiform. CONSTITUTION:A platelike expandable phenol/urethan mixed resin plate 1a in proper size and a reinforced sheet 2 are superposed on each other in stratiform, and molded in thermal pressure into a sandwich structure by a press device 3 at a heating temperature of about 170-180 deg.C. At this time, in a foaming body 1, a partial methylol radical is left over, but this methylol radical further reacts to a phenol nucleus by the thermal molding whereby recoupling of phenol occurs there. Therefore, a laminated plate of such a trim material as being high in recticulate density and excellent in heat resistance is securable. |
