PURPOSE:To correct the abnormatity of a signal such as drop-out generated in a reproduction signal, and to obtain an excellent video signal by adding a drop-out detector and a switch circuit to a conventional reproduction signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an output signal (e) of an FM demodulator 12 is Yn-1, a switch circuit 25 outputs an output signal Yn-1 of the demodulator 12 as it is, because drop-out is not generated. Then, when the demodulator 12 completes the output of the Yn-1 and starts outputting of Yn, a drop-out detector 24 detects the drop-out and generates a detection signal, thereby controlling the circuit 25. Responding the detection signal, the circuit 25 selectes and outputs an output signal of the 1st delay circuit 13 instead of the output of the demodulator 12. At this time, the 1st delay circuit 13 has started outputting the Yn-1 being a signal ahead of one horizontal scan period, and as a result, said circuit 25 outputs the Yn-1 excluding the drop-out instead of the Yn where the drop-out arises.
