PURPOSE:To fold a paper with a high degree of reliability by use of a simple and cheap structure arrangement, by providing a pair of side wall guides forming therebetween a spece which is widened toward its end from its introduction port, and as well by providing a means for jetting air along the side wall guides. CONSTITUTION:A Z-likely folded fanfold sheet 1 is introduced into a printer body 2, and is fed into a stacker device 6 by sprocket wheels 5 after travelling a type drum 3 and a printing hammer 4 in order to be printed by types. In this arrangement, the stacker device is provided with feed rollers 7, 8 and side wall guides 9, 10 for introducing the sheet, and discharge outlet pipes 11, 12 for discharging air toward the side wall guides 9, 11. An air stream is allowed to flow from either one of the discharge outlet pipes 11, 12, selectively along the side wall guides 9, 10 so that the sheet is attracted onto one side wall to be folded under vacuum action by the air stream. With this arrangement, the movable part of the device may be made less to enhance the reliability of the device. |
