PURPOSE:To make it possible to decrease doming of a shadow-mask and realize good picture quality without color deviation, by providing a means for increasing the strength of bridges. CONSTITUTION:Bridges 23 are provided with a means for increasing their strength. For example, the bridges 23 have thick portions 23a which are formed to be 1.2-2 times thicker than other portions. When the bridges 23 are provided with the thick portions 23a like those, their strength property sigmax in X direction is greater than that in the case without the thick portions 23a. On the other hand, their strength property sigmay in Y direction is almost unchanged. Therefore, it is possible to decrease the doming amount and suppress the color deviation to improve the picture quality. |
