发明名称 OPTICAL TYPE CURRENT DETECTOR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve measuring accuracy, dielectric strength and mechanical vibration resistance, and to apply this detector to a gas insulation on/off switching device by forming an optical path which goes round an electric conductor by a Faraday element itself without using an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A linearly polarized light 12 projected from a light emitting source 5 passes through a light transmitting part 7 on a gas insulation on/off switching device surrounding device 1, passes through an incident/emitting surface 3a and goes into a Faraday element 3. This parallel light 13 is totally reflected by the first 45 deg. reflecting surface 8 of a corner 3b and becomes an orthogonal light 14, also totally reflected by the second 45 deg. reflecting surface 9 and goes to an orthogonal light 15, and travels toward a corner 3c. Subsequently, in the same way, said light passes through the corner 3c and a corner 3d, and thereafter, gets out of a corner cube surface 3e and is reflected reversely by a corner cube 4, passes through the reverse cource and is made incident on an analyzing device 6 from the incident/emitting surface 3a. This linearly polarized light 20 wheels in accordance with a current flowing in an electric conductor 2, therefore, the magnitude of a current can be detected by measuring a Faraday wheeling angle by the analyzing device 6.</p>
