Safety device preventing the use of a ''type S 63'' push-button telephone, in transmit mode, by a person not possessing the key of the device. It comprises a plastic (keypad cover) body 1 made integral with a metal part 4 in a ''hinged'' manner by way of a crimped pin 5; the part 3 consists of a thin metal part which also fits between the set and the initial keypad cover; next comes the part 1 which covers the part 3, the interlocking of these two parts makes it impossible to use the telephone apparatus in transmit mode. The device can be used by anybody owning a ''type S 63'' push-button telephone apparatus. Simply designed and rapidly installed, it can be used by anybody. <IMAGE>
