PURPOSE:The titled composition having a high polymer concentration, a low viscosity, good dispersion stability and suited for use in the production of polyurethane, prepared by polymerizing a plurality of specified monomers in a polyol. CONSTITUTION:A polymer polyol composition (of a hydroxyl value of about 3-225) prepared by polymerizing (A) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of the formula (wherein R1 is H or methyl and R2 is a 1-4C alkyl), e.g., methyl methacrylate, with (B) (meth)acrylonitrile and, optionally, (C) other monomers (e.g., styrene) in a polyol (e.g., glycerin/propylene oxide adduct) and comprising 20-55wt% above polyol and 80-45wt% copolymer of monomers A, B, and C dispersed therein. This composition is used in the production of polyurethane by reaction with a polyisocyanate in the presence of, if necessary, a blowing agent, catalyst and other additives.
