PURPOSE:To prevent the water leakage due to inadequate fitting of a cartridge by making the thrusting in of the cartridge and the fitting of a cover case possible only when the cartridge is fitted into the regular position with respect to a filter case. CONSTITUTION:The filtration device consists of a cylindrical filter case 12 which is opened at the upper part and has a water intake 15 at the bottom and a water supply pipe 16 which rises on one side of the interior, a cylindrical cartridge 13 which is inserted into the case 12 from the opening, and a cover case 14 which is screwed into the opening part of the case 12 and used for pressing and fixing the cartridge 13. The cartridge 13 is also provided with an outflow port 19 which is connected with the water intake 15, a notched part 20 on one side which extends upward from the lower part, and an inflow port 21 which is situated over the notched part 20 and connected to the water supply tube 16. Consequently, the cartridge can always be fitted regularly into the case 12, the water leakage as before is not caused, and safety can be enhanced.
