PURPOSE:To perform a stable and accurate track jump operation by adding the output of a memory, where a track position error signal is integrated and accumlated synchronously with rotation of a disc, to a driving signal of a transducer when a track following-up opration or a track jump operation is performed. CONSTITUTION:A track position error signal 101 from a photodetector 18 is inputted to not only an integrating memory 23 through a turned on switch 30 from a phase compensating filter 22 but also a power amplifier 24 by swithing- up of a mode switch 31. The output of the filter 22 is integrated and accumulated in the memory 23 synchronously with rotation of a recording medium 1, and an output 103 is inputted to an amplifier 24, and a signal resulting from addition of both inputs is inputted to an actuator 12. Meanwhile, if a track jump signal 105 is inputted, a mode control circuit 25 turns off the switch 30 and switches down the switch 31 and sends the signal to a jump pulse generating circuit 26. The driving signal from the circuit 26 is added to the signal 103 by means 24, and a light spot is moved accurately between tracks through an actuator 17. |
