PURPOSE:To provide bypass function by providing a data highway, line exchange module, packet exchange module, time division switch and an adaptor to allow the system to cope easily with the request of increase/decrease in the number of types of lines accommodated in each node station of a hybrid LAN, and disconnect plural modules against faults. CONSTITUTION:A separation circuit 13 and a multiplex circuit 14 in a loop multiplex section 10N are connected by a branching insertion circuit 15 and a branched data from the branch inserting circuit 15 is transmitted to line exchange modules 21 and 31 accommodated in the node station via a branched insertion data highway 16. A packet exchange module 31 is bypassed in packet system adaptors 18-1, 18-2 and 18-3 according to the bypass request from packet exchange modules 31-1, 31-2 and 31-3. |
