PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor integrated circuit having high integration degree and low power consumption equal to those of a dynamic circuit by providing a clock generating circuit generating a signal processing operation start clock with a detection signal from a detection circuit and an insulation gate field effect transistor (TR) supplying a charge to a required circuit node by the clock. CONSTITUTION:A detection circuit detects a change in at least one signal among input signals to the said circuit and gives a detection signal to a clock generating circuit 2. Then the clock generating circuit generates a signal processing start clock phi, which is given to each section of a signal processing circuit 3 provided with an MOST at the same time. On the other hand, the signal processing circuit 3 holds the preceding state until the input is changed and brought into the standby state through the input change. The circuit 3 is brought into the active static state with the impression of the clock phi and starts the signal processing operation. When the phi is turned off, the circuit is brought into the active dynamic state, completes a series of signal processings by outputting signals Y1-Yn and reaches the holding state. Since it is not required to supply a charge at all times to each circuit node in the circuits, high integration is attained. |
