A catch gutter (19) with a base opening (21) is arranged over the filling opening (15) to the washing fluid container. The base opening (21) is aligned at a tangent to a guide rib (22) running downwards for its lower end to range into the machine filling opening (15). Pref. a drop wedge (25) is at the lower end of the guide rib (22), at the side of the gutter's base opening (21). It is vertically above a catch bar (29), at the lower edge of the filling opening (15), which has an angled base running down to form a support for the filling opening (15). A wall rib runs parallel to the guide rib (22), with its lower end also ranging into the filling opening (15), so that its structure matches that of the guide rib. The catch gutter (19) is fitted to the upper section (9) of the washing fluid container which is a water main with an overflow, at the main feed inlet (10) for the machine. A drop guide bar (28) runs downwards on the wall from the base opening (21) in the gutter.
