CCD semiconductor component

A CCD semiconductor component is described having a semiconductor body of a first conductance (channel) type which has a structure in the form of strips (stripes) or a matrix on one of its two main surfaces and has at least one region of the first conductance type for collecting the majority carriers. At least one opposing electrode is fitted on the other main surface and makes possible complete depletion and storage of the majority carriers together with the electrode arrangement on the first main surface. According to the invention, at least one electrode is additionally provided which allows a signal which is produced by the minority carriers to be read out. In the case of a preferred exemplary embodiment, the signals which are produced by the minority carriers can be read out quickly and as a function of position. In the case of a further preferred exemplary embodiment, the element is the CCD element both for the majority carriers and for the minority carriers.
