PURPOSE:To shorten a building-up time of cell voltage by a method in which a mixture, where potassium perchlorate powder is added to iron powder obtained by heat-reducing oxyhydroxid iron in hydrogen gas atmosphere, is press-molded to be a heating agent. CONSTITUTION:A certain amount of H2 gas is made to flow while raising the temperature of a hydrogen reducing furnace followed by sending FeO(OH) into the furnace. When the temperature inside the furnace is maintained not less than 440 deg.C for 30-90min, FeO(OH) is reduced. Next, a crasher is set up in a chamber being put in an inactive state with Ar gas for pulverizing reduced iron. On the other hand, KClO4 is pulverized while putting particles in order so as not to give a strong chock. Iron powder obtained in this way and KClO4 powder are uniformly mixed by a homogenizer for being press-molded while being put into a metal mold. |
