The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting leads to an electrical installation apparatus (1) during insertion into a push-in rack (2). For this purpose, plug connecting parts (3, 4, 7) which are mounted on the installation apparatus (1) or push-in frame (2) are to be connected by means of plug-in means (10, 13; 14, 17) on the principle of a plug and socket. It is provided that at least two plug connecting parts (3, 4, 7) have plug means (10, 14, 19) which are constructed to be so long that electrical contact between the associated plug means (10, 13; 14, 17) is ensured in the pushed-in state of the installation apparatus (1), within a tolerance band. For this purpose, in each case one plug means is constructed as a flat contact piece (13, 14), and the associated plug means (10, 17, 19) forms at least two contact zones (24, 16, 25), which are narrow in the insertion direction with respect to the flat contact piece (13, 14). The plug means having narrow contact zones can either be a contact spring (10, 19) with mutually opposite knobs (24, 25), which holds a flat contact piece (13), or a contact clip (17) in whose sprung contacts (16) a flat contact (15) engages. <IMAGE>
