EXPRESSION VECTORS FOR CATECHOL-2,3-DIOXYGENASE, ENZYMES OBTAINED AND THEIR USES

A plasmid vector characterised in that it comprises as least: - the xy/E gene coding for the synthesis of catechol 2,3-oxygenase, and - a promoter of the functional expression of the xy/E gene in a Gram<+> bacterium. The bacteria transformed with the aid of these plasmids can be employed for cloning DNA and also for the synthesis of catechol 2,3- oxygenase.
