<p>PURPOSE:To form a low cost heat insulating material having a use in various field capable of being utilized even as a buffer material, by mixing the material, which is obtained by shredding waste such as documents by a shredder, with a crushed waste thermosetting synthetic resin under stirring and bonding the resulting mixture under heating and pressure. CONSTITUTION:Shredded paper 3, which is obtained by shreadding documents 1 by a shredder 2, is stirred and mixed in a container 4 by a stirrer 5 while thermoplastic synthetic resin waste 6 is crushed by a crusher 7 to obtain a powder 8 which is, in turn, mixed with said shredded paper 3 under stirring. At this time, static electricity is generated by stirring and the powder 8 is attracted to and mixed with the shredded paper 3. When the resulting mixture is compressed by a heating and pressurizing apparatus 10 so as to obtain a proper void ratio and a thickness, the synthetic resin powder is converted to a binder by heat to form a sheet like heat insulating material A.</p> |
