According to the invention, either pressure-limiting valves making use of the injector effect and thus increasing the suction-side pump pressure are incorporated in such a way as to result in a high benefit/cost relation, or special pressure-limiting valves are incorporated in such a way that their jet pressure increases the torque at the pump. Another possibility is to recover energy with the aid of a Segner wheel.
