PURPOSE:To perform a high-precision and high-speed discrimination processing with easy teaching by operating a histogram in one direction on a matrix in accordance with a binary signal from a picture memory RAM and comparing it with master work to discriminate the model number. CONSTITUTION:A mode changeover switch 2 is set to the teaching mode, and the number of a master work to be tought is set. The binary picture of the master work is picked up by a two-dimensional image sensor 4 and is stored in a picture memory RAM6 through a binarizing circuit 5, and a CPU7 generates the histogram and stores it in a teaching data RAM9. The mode changeover switch 2 is set to the execution mode, and the picture of a work whose model number should be discriminated is picked up by the two-dimensional image sensor 4, and the histogram is generated similarly. The model number of the master work where the sum of error in individual rows of the histogram is minimum is discriminated. |
