<p>An apparatus for electrochemical purification of a polluted liquid comprises a settler (1) provided with sleeves (2, 3) for discharging the purified liquid and the resultant waste and embracing partially a coagulating chamber (4) mounted coaxially inside it; a foam intake (13) mounted above that chamber; a sleeve (5) for inletting the electrolyte and soluble electrodes (6) mounted in the lower part of the coagulating chamber (4); a mixer (7) with a sleeve (8) for inletting the polluted liquid and a splitter plate (14) mounted between the settler (1) and the coagulating chamber (4). The part of the coagulating chamber (4) situated in the settler (1) and the splitter plate (14) are shaped as truncated cones with their bigger bases (12, 15) facing the foam intake (13) whereas the mixer (7) is provided with damping perforated partitions (9).</p> |
