The hinge is intended for doors with an overlap. It contains a lower hinge part (1), an upper hinge part (2) and an axle pin (5) connecting these. Two supporting pins (15) parallel to one another are held in corresponding bores in the door frame. The height setting of the upper hinge part (2) takes place by means of the axle pin (5) which can be rotated by means of a tool and which is movable in a guide sleeve (13) by means of a thread (24, 26). By means of the fixing screw (7), the lower hinge part (1) is fixed at the desired distance from the door frame. The recesses (16) in the supporting pins (15) allow a correction of the position of the lower hinge part (1). A threaded pin (4) serves for fixing the upper hinge part in the door. By rotating the threaded pin (4) together with the upper hinge part before the door is hung, the position of the door can be corrected. The upper hinge part (2) can be lined with a thin-walled sleeve, so that a slot (22) becoming visible during the height adjustment is concealed. <IMAGE>
