<p>PURPOSE:To detect a defect position securely by storing and comparing respective picture elements of pieces of image information of a primary plate before correction and a secondary plate after the correction, and rewriting the contents of memories so that the difference in density level between dissident picture elements is made large and displaying them alternately. CONSTITUTION:The primary plate before correction is placed on an original plate 1 and shot by a telecamera 2, and its contents are stored in the memory 31. Similarly, the contents of the secondary plate are stored in a memory 32. The contents of both memories 31 and 32 are compared and operated by picture elements to rewrite the memory contents so that the difference in density level between dissident picture elements is made large, and the pieces of picture elements are displayed alternately on a monitor 4 as an optical image. The time interval of display is set with a timer and dissident picture elements parts are placed in a blinking state. Thus, defect positions are detected securely.</p> |
