PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and to reduce the configuration by commonly using a propulsion electromagnetic coil and a levitating electromagnetic coil, and controlling the propulsion force and the levitating force for a common polyphase AC generator. CONSTITUTION:Levitating and propulsion electromagnetic coils 3, 4 are aligned in a row state in the moving direction in a movable body 2, and position sensors 5, 6 are provided at the front and rear ends. A levitating controller 15 output a signal in response to position detection signals from position sensors 5, 6, and a propulsion controller 16 outputs a signal in response to the relative relation between the position in the traveling direction and a target position. A 3-phase AC generator 11 supplies 3-phase AC of the magnitude in response to the output of the controller 15 with the prescribed frequency to the front armature coil 3, and a 3-phase AC generator 12 supplies 3-phase AC of the magnitude in response to the output of the controller 15 with the frequency in response to the output of the controller 16 to the rear armature coil 4. |
