PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device that prevents breakage and elongation of a ropy body due to excessive tension in feeding out of the ropy body by rotation of feeding reel and feeding by rotation of a carrying roller, by detecting deflection between two rotating parts and maintaining to a specified value or more. CONSTITUTION:The copy body 2 is sent out by the first driving source 3 of a feeding reel 1 and sent by the second driving source 17 of a carrying roller 16 providing proper deflection in the intermediate part. The intermediate deflection part 8 is put in a box 5, and detected by combination of a photosensor 11 and a antireflective hole 13, and rotation of the first driving source is controlled not to make the deflection 8 to a specified value or less. Thus, breakage and elongation of the copy body 2 caused by excessive tension are prevented. A photosensor 12 can be placed also in the lower part of the box 5 to maintain the deflection within a specified range, and air current can be flowed to the box 5 to maintain the ropy body 2 in deflection of good form.
