A device for pallet changing consists of in each case two pallet receptacles (9a, 9b, 11a, 11b) which are arranged symmetrically on both sides of the supply path to a workpiece metal-cutting machine (1) and the outer (9a, 9b) of which are stationary and the inner (11a, 11b) can be pivoted into the supply path. Each of the pallet receptacles (9a, 9b, 11a, 11b) is provided with support rollers (18) and guide rollers (19) for the positionally correct receiving and guiding of the pallets (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) as well as with locking means (22, 23) for fixing the pallets (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d). The device makes it possible to carry out necessary resetting work on the pallets (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d), for example the exchange of the workpiece clamping devices for the machining of different workpieces, outside the metal-cutting machine (1) without interrupting its working cycle. <IMAGE>
