摘要 PURPOSE:To make the structure of the mechanism simple and small significantly by utilizing a carriage traversing drive source for the ribbon winding force. CONSTITUTION:A head pushing solenoid 46 is mounted at the bottom of a carriage base plate 30 mounted in a carriage case 4a through a solenoid fitting metal 45. A connecting pin 47 is provided at a plunger section 46a of the solenoid and engaged with one end 38a of a solenoid lever 38. A head press shaft 42 is mounted at the other end 38b of the solenoid lever 38 through a head pushing spring 40 in such a manner as to be slidable axially to a certain extent. Moreover, a head support plate 31 for supporting a thermal head 6 is so arranged on the circumference of a shaft 3 to free to turn in the angle with the circumference of a bearing 48 fixed on the carriage case 4a as reference. When the solenoid 46 attracts a plunger 46a, the solenoid lever 38 turns in the angle centered on a support shaft 39 so that the head pushing shaft 42 will push the thermal head 6 to a platen through the head support plate 31.
