PURPOSE:To enable realization of stopping at a top dead point with high measuring accuracy by counting the pulses synchronized with the rotating speed of a press near the bottom dead point, estimating a coasting distance by the operational equation having a correcting means and emitting a stop command. CONSTITUTION:The rotating speed of a press and the angle of a flywheel are detected by a synchronous transmitter 16 and are subjected to S/D conversion 17. The pulse signals are counted by a counter 18 and the speed when a driving shaft is near the bottom dead point is calculated. When the press moves to the set angle of an angle setter 21, the count number of the counter 18 is latched by the signal thereof and an arithmetic processor 24 is interrupted to take the data of the count value therein. The sampling number is set in a setter 26. The correction by a method of least squares is made in accordance with such data and the operational equation indicating the relation between the count value and the coasting angle is determined. The command timing for the stop is calculated and estimated by the operational equation and a command is given to a solenoid valve 30 to actuate the brake when the driving shaft arrives at the estimated position. |
