PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly fly the ink present in the vicinity of the leading end of a recording electrode and to perform not only line printing but also serial printing under the same condition, by arranging a printing head so as to incline the same to a horizontal surface. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined gap (A) is held between the leading end of a recording electrode 22 and recording paper 3 and a printing head 1 is arranged so that the recording electrode 22 is opposed to the recording paper 13 at an angle of theta. Therefore, the flight direction of ink 17 is set to a direction to which the own wt. of ink particles 23 is added. The ink 17 in a jet orifice 19 is turned around a projection 21 in a larger amount under its own wt. and brought to an easily sliding-down state. Therefore, the response of the ink 17 flying corresponding to a signal is enhanced and a printing state becomes stable. Because the ink is easily flied, the gap (a) between the recording electrode 22 and the recording paper can be made large and a discharge phenomenon can be prevented. |
