PURPOSE:To input many input data with a required minimum number of input ports by providing the data input port of a microprocessor with a digital data setting means, a digital data/analog data selecting means, and a digital converting means. CONSTITUTION:A data input circuit 1 consists of a digital data setting means 3 which switches desired input digital data D0 by the operation of a rotary switch 7 to set data of a microprocessor 2, a selecting means 4 which selects digital data from this digital data setting means 3 and desired analog data D1 individually in accordance with a switch S, and a digital converting means 5 which converts data D0 and D1 from the selecting means 4 to data D2 which can be processed in the microprocessor 2. Switching in the selecting means 4 is performed by a control signal sent from an output port 10 of the microprocessor 2.
