PURPOSE:To ensure ignition for inside and outside flames of a heater burner by a construction wherein a guide groove leading from an air intake opening of an inside flame port to an outside flame port through the vicinity of the inside flame port is provided so that a pilot flame can extend upward obliquely along this guide groove. CONSTITUTION:A raw gas is guided from a cock 2 to an outside flame port 12 through a nozzle 19, a mixing pipe 3 and the main body 5 of a burner. The raw gas is guided also to a pilot nozzle 17 and ignited by a high-voltage spark of an ignition plug 22. A pilot flame 7 passes through a space 25 formed between the lower end portion of the main body 5 of the burner and a ceiling plate 4, passing obliquely through an air intake opening 26 for an inside flame, passing through the vicinity of an inside flame port 13 under the guide of a guide groove 10, igniting the raw gas injected from the inside flame port 13, and then extending to the outside flame port 12. The raw gas injected from the outside flame port 12 tends to flow upward vertically because of the presence of an indented cut 23 only in a part facing the guide groove 10, and thus it contacts easily with the pilot flame 7 and is ignited thereby easily. |
