PURPOSE:To stabilize both the focusing and tracking functions and at the same time to facilitate greatly easy production and assembly for an objective lens driver, by using a U-shaped elastic member to support the objective lens. CONSTITUTION:A lens holder 21 is fixed at the center part of a U-shaped plate spring 24, and coils 22 and 23 are adhered at both sides of the holder 21. When a focus shift is corrected, the coil 22 is energized. Thus the spring 24 is easily bent toward A to eliminate the focus shift. In a tracking mode the coil 23 is energized, and the spring 24 is bent easily toward B to perform the tracking control. Thus both the focusing and tracking functions are stabilized. At the same time, the form of the spring 24 is simplified. This facilitates the extremely easy production and assembly of an objective lens driver. |
