PURPOSE:To obtain a cheap sealer which can be easily assembled and is capable of high sealabilities with lesser sliding resistance by providing a sealant consisting of a sliding part and an elastic part for any one of the periphery of an impeller and the inner surface of a partition plate. CONSTITUTION:When an impeller 1 is turned, an air current is produced from the inner surface to the periphery on both sides of the impeller 1, during which period heat exchange is made. Since the aperture between the impeller 1 and a partition plate 3 is closed with a sealant 5, no mixing of different kinds of air currents on both sides of the impeller 1 takes place. Also, since the sealant 5 consists of a sliding part 6 made of felt or Teflon having good slidability and an elastic part 7 made of a rubber having good elasticity or a metal or a resin having a springing property in a multi-layer structure, high sealing effects can be attained with small sliding resistance, and a comparatively low accuracy for the flatness of the impeller 1 and the assembling property of the sealer is allowed. |
