PURPOSE:To prevent the freezing of a mixing tank during the severe cold season as well as obtain stable hot water by lessening the varying width of hot water temperatures by a method in which annular upper and lower headers, plural water tubes connecting both the headers, and a pertition plate to divide the upper header into upper and lower sections are provided, a through hole is provided in the partition plate, and a water supply port is provided in the upside of the upper header and right above the through hole. CONSTITUTION:When water is supplied from a small hole 31 into the lower chamber 27 of an upper header 22, it is detected by a hot water temperature sensor 33 and the operation of a burner 34 is started. The water supplied into a water supply tube 30 is directed into the lower header 23, during which period the operation of a burner 34 is started. The water in the lower header 23 is heated while passing through plural water tubes 24 in the form of being pushed up by the lower header 23 and collected in the lower chamber 27 of the upper header 22. The hot water is passed through the through hole 28 of the partition plate 25 and discharged from a hot water port 32 through the upper chamber 26 of the upper header 22. By operating the burner 34, natural convection flow is occurred between the upper chamber 26 of the upper header 22 and the lower chamber 27 through the through hole of the partition plate 25 and heating is made, so that the freezing of the mixing tank can be prevented. |
