PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-see display screen by providing a high scattering part to the incident-light side of the metallic electrode formation part of a thin- film transistor (TR). CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display panel is formed by laminating the 1st polarizing plate 40, a substrate 21 equipped with thin-film TR24 (24a-24d) for switching arranged in a matrix, a facing substrate 31 having a liquid crystal layer 36 and a counter electrode 32, the 2nd polarizing plate 41, and a diffusion reflecting plate 42 successively from the side of incident light I0. Further, scattering parts 39a and 39b which provide the same light scattering effect with the reflecting plate 42 are provided at the side of the incident light I0 while covering gate electrodes 22a and 22b. Thus, the display panel has the easy-to-see display screen. |
