PURPOSE:To secure the excellent magnetic characteristics over an entire frequency range between low and high levels by setting the overall magnetization easy direction in the direction orthogonal to a main magnetic path. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped magnetic head core 6 is fixed via a stopper 5 after setting magnetic pole 3 opposite to the center of a hole 6a of the ring together with a magnetic gap G formed at the front end and the outside of the rear end of the core 6 set opposite the magnetic poles 4 and 4 respectively. Therefore a line 7 of magnetic force flows radially toward pole 4 and 4 from the pole 3 and then toward the outside from the center of the hole 6a for the core 6. Under such conditions, a heating process is applied to improve the magnetic characteristics of the amorphous metal of the core 6. At the same time, the magnetic anisotropy is formed to the entire core 6 in response to the line 7. Thus the magnetization easy direction 8 of each part is set radially toward outside from the center of the hole 6a as shown by arrow heads after processing. As a result, the magnetic anisotopy orthogonal to the ring-shaped main magnetic path of the core 6 is formed entirely. Then the magnetic ansotropy parallel to the main magnetic path is formed entirely in the magnetization hard direction. |
