PURPOSE:To provide easy adjustability for the brake force applied to a brake device by adjusting the height of heaving a roller by an object, wherein the roller is heaved against the action of the gravity according to passage of the object. CONSTITUTION:This brake device includes a roller 12, which performs control action for an object 10 under motion, and an adjusting mechanism which adjusts the height of the roller being heaved by said object. The adjusting mechanism is composed of a bearing 14, which is provided with a long hole 14a to guide the roller shaft 13, and a slidably supported slide member 15 which supports said bearing rotatably with a pin 15a, and the angle of bearing and the location of said slide member are adjustable by adjusting screws 16, 17 are coil springs 18, 19. |
