PURPOSE:To enable the fitting of a combustion fan on the front of the main body of a combustion device such as a gas or oil hot-water supplier by virtually one action, by forming a joint member of the combustion fan and a burner of a configuration memory alloy in which a configuration is memorized in the direction of pressing on the discharge port of the combustion fan. CONSTITUTION:A joint metal fitting 11 made of a configuration memory alloy whose one side is fixed to an air duct by fixing screws 12 or welding or the like with a packing 9 interposed between said side and the upper surface 6' of the outer wall 6 of the duct surrounds, in the shape of an opening of the air duct joined to the discharge port of a combustion fan, and the section of the joint metal fitting is shaped to have a small step so that a part of the fitting overlaps the flange 8 of the combustion fan in such a manner that this flange is held between said part and the upper surface 6' of the outer wall 6 of the air duct. The fitting is prepared beforehand so that it can be slided freely and airtightly at an ordinary temperature on the upper surface 6' of the air duct 6 with the flange 8 of the combustion fan held between, and moreover, it is given a configuration memory which enables the tightening of the flange 8 of said combustion fan onto the upper surface 6' of the air duct at a high temperature.
