PURPOSE:To bring an X-ray film and intensifying screens into excellent contact by sandwiching the film between the intensifying screens and pressing them between an upper and a lower contacting plate, surrounding those upper and lower contacting plates with a fixing frame, and sucking air between the contacting plates. CONSTITUTION:The X-ray film 10 for fluoroscopy is sucked up by a suction pad 11, run between rollers 20 and 21, and sandwiched between the intensifying screens 22b and 22d fixed to the upper and lower contacting plates 22a and 22c respectively. Those upper and lower contacting plates 22a and 22c are anchored with a fixing pin 23 and the lower contacting plate 22c is pressed up by a leaf spring 27. Further, the upper and lower contacting plates 22a and 22c are put in the fixing frame 22e and the internal air is sucked out through a hole 22g to bring the film 10 into contact with the intensifying screens 22b and 22d. Then, the X-ray film is taken out of the contacting device A, an image is picked up, and then the film is returned into the contacting device A; and the upper and lower contacting plates 22a and 22c are separated and the exposed film 18 is taken out through rollers 20 and 25. Thus, the film is conveyed through the simple constitution and the intensifying screens are brought into excellent contact.
