<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display input device containing a contactless connector by forming a phototransistor at a part of a silicone or amorphous semiconductor and using said phototransistor to perform an optical input. CONSTITUTION:A transparent common electrode 5 is formed with indium oxide, etc. on the lower surface side of an upper transparent substrate 2. While MOS phototransistors Tr 7 and 9 of a silicon or amorphous semiconductor are formed on the upper surface side of a lower substrate 3. When inpression of voltage is discontinued to the electrode 5 and a segment electrode 6, the display is entirely turned off at an input part N. Then the light is made incident on the gate of the Tr 9, and the Tr 9 is actuated. The desired data to be supplied are turned into optical signals by light source LED1-4, and these sources emit light. The beams of those light sources are made incident on the gates of Tr 9a-9d respectively to produce the gate voltage. Thus the Tr 9a-9d are actuated with said gate voltage, and the desired data to be supplied to an electronic device can be fed.</p> |
