PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a developing device by feeding a developer from a developer cartridge located in a developing roll to the surface of said roll. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge 6 of the nonmagnetic toner is arranged in the developing roll 1, and the toner is conveyed with an auger device 7 to the surface of the roll 1. Since the auger devices 7 are fixed to the both end sides of the roll 1, uniform toner feed in the longitudinal direction of the roll 1 can be ensured. As a result, the toner storage space need not provide in other places, thus permitting the developing device to be reduced in size. |
