PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material having superior wear resistance by applying a soln. of a nonsilver photosensitive component in an org. solvent to a support to form a lower layer and by applying an aqueous emulsified dispersion contg. a nonsilver photosensitive component and a lipophilic water-insoluble polymer to the lower layer to form an upper layer. CONSTITUTION:Diazophenylamine resin, o-naphthoquinonediazidosulfonic ester or the like is used as a nonsilver photosensitive component, and polyacrylic ester, butylphenol.formaldehyde resin or the like is used as a lipophilic water-insoluble polymer. A soln. of the photosensitive component in an org. solvent is applied to a support of Al or the like and dried to form a lower layer. The photosensitive component and the water-insoluble polymer are dissolved in an org. solvent, this org. soln. is dispersed in water to prepare an aqueous emulsified dispersion, and this dispersion is applied to the lower layer and dried to obtain a photosensitive material. The resulting photosensitive material can be developed with water, has high wear resistance, and is suitable for use as a lithographic printing plate or a resist for printed wiring. |
