PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which can uniformly heat a conductive plate material across a whole area in a width direction.SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus comprises: a conveyance passage 2 through which a conductive plate material W is conveyed; a first tabular coil group 3 arranged on an upper side of the conveyance passage 2; and a second tabular coil group 4 arranged on an under side of the conveyance passage 2. The first tabular coil group 3 and the second tabular coil group 4 include a plurality of tabular element coils C and in which coil units Cx having at least one tabular element coil C arranged in a width direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction are arranged in multiple stages along the conveyance direction. The one or more tabular element coils C which compose the coil unit Cx are arranged in such a way as to protrude outward from a conductive plate material W in a width direction. |
