PURPOSE:To make accurate shock absorber control attainable for years, by constituting a slip due to a secular change or the like in desired damping force capable of being set up by a setting device so as to make it compensable with a deviation between the actual damping force and the control desired damping force. CONSTITUTION:When a car vibrates temporarily due to a rough road and car level data being inputted out of a car level sensor 2 via an analog-to-digital converter 3 become such a value as being more than the specified level, a ranked value of the car level data is stored in a microcomputer 4. Next, a difference between data of damping force by the stored data classified by ranks and data of damping force conforming to the set data made by a setting switch 1 at that time is calculated, and according to this difference, whether the damping force is small or not is judged in this way. Accordingly, on the basis of this judging result, the desired damping rank is set, and according to the set data, a step motor 6 is controlled via a drive circuit 5, thereby controlling the damping force of a shock absorber 7. |
