MANUFACTURE OF MICROWAVE RESONANCE CAVITY

PURPOSE:To obtain a microwave resonance cavity excellent in a high aperture rate and strength by forming the 1st flat mesh body in a cylindrical form, welding the bonding part and covering one opening of the cylinder with the 2nd flat mesh body. CONSTITUTION:The 1st flat mesh body 1 is formed into a cylinder 3. Spot welding is applied to a welding margin 1b of the bonding part and the cylinder 6 is manufactured. A reinforcing ring 7 is connected to an inner face of the welding margin 1b of one opening of the cylinder 6. The welding margin 2b of the 2nd flat mesh body 2 is welded to the reinforcing ring 7 and the opening of the cylinder 6 is covered. Thus, the microwave resonance cavity having excellent strength and high aperture rate is obtained.
