PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal support cell including a solid electrolyte having a dense structure, in which the degradation of a metal support body is suppressed and more specifically, a metal support cell in which the degradation of a metal support body is suppressed by use of a solid electrolyte material superior in low-temperature sinterability even in the case of manufacturing a solid electrolyte by baking in the presence of the metal support body.SOLUTION: A metal support cell of the present invention comprises, on a support body (A) including a metal material and having a continuous hole, an electrode (B), a solid electrolyte(C) and an electrode (D) which are disposed in the order of (B), (C) and (D). The solid electrolyte (C) mainly includes zirconia and further, includes 0.1-10.0 mol of bismuth atoms to 100 mol of zirconium atoms. The solid electrolyte has a porosity of 5.0% or less in its section observed by a scanning electron microscope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
